Awards and Honors
Kathleen Adams, an assistant clinical professor of pharmacy practice, received the Emerging Adult Medicine Professional Practice Networks Member Award from the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. This award recognizes an individual who has made a substantial impact in adult medicine clinical practice and research in the early stages of one’s pharmaceutical career.
Dr. Avinash Bidra, clinical professor and director of the post-graduate prosthodontics program, received the 2023 Educator of the Year Award for his exceptional skills as a dental educator from the American College of Prosthodontists.
Kristen Govoni, associate dean of Academic Programs and director of the Ratcliffe Hicks School of Agriculture within the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources, received the 2023 Northeast Region award for Excellence in College and University Teaching Award in Food and Agricultural Sciences by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture and the Association of Public Land-Grant Universities.
José Manautou, department head of the School of Pharmacy pharmaceutical sciences department, was named a fellow by the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics.
Marissa Salvo, an associate clinical professor of pharmacy practice, was elected a Fellow in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. Recognition as an ACCP Fellow signifies demonstration of exceptional performance in clinical pharmacy practice and/or research.
