Professor of Mathematics Guozhen Lu has been named a 2025 Fellow of the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM). 

The AWM Fellows Program was established to recognize individuals who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to the support and advancement of women in the mathematical sciences. 

Lu was selected for his sustained support and service to AWM, mentorship of early and mid-career female scientists, and advocacy for the career advancement of talented female mathematicians. 

The Eighth Class of AWM Fellows will be recognized in January 2025 at the Joint Mathematics Meetings in Seattle, WA.
