Meet six nurse practitioners who’ve joined UConn Health in the last several months.

Sandra Biolo
Sandra Biolo is seeing patients in the Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center, in the Outpatient Pavilion in Farmington. She joins UConn Health from Danbury Hospital. Biolo received her post master’s certificate as an adult nurse practitioner at Western Connecticut State University, where she previously had earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She also holds a Master of Science in nursing education from the University of Hartford.

AnnMarie Bolduc
AnnMarie Bolduc is seeing dermatology patients at 21 South Road in Farmington and 1 Royce Circle in Storrs Center. She joins UConn Health from private practice in Glastonbury. Bolduc graduated from the UConn School of Nursing with a Master of Science in Nursing, where as a student she worked at UConn Health in dermatology, internal medicine and cardiology. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Joseph College and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Salve Regina University.

Vrunda Shah
Vrunda Shah sees patients at the UConn Musculoskeletal Institute in Farmington. She joins UConn Health from Hartford Healthcare. Shah holds three degrees from UConn: a Master of Science, family nurse practitioner, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Bachelor of Science in finance.

Lauren Brennan
Lauren Brennan is seeing patients in the urology practice in the Outpatient Pavilion in Farmington. She joins UConn Health from the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Brennan is a graduate of the UConn School of Nursing and holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University.

Kimberly Gervais
Kimberly Gervais is seeing patients in the pulmonary medicine clinic, in the main building in Farmington, specializing in adult sleep disorders. She joins UConn Health from private practice. Gervais holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Three Rivers Community College.

Britta Shute
Britta Shute sees patients in the internal medicine practice, in the Outpatient Pavilion in Farmington. She joins UConn Health from the University of Southern California. Shute holds a Master of Science in family nursing from Regis College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Simmons College. Her areas of clinical interest include women’s health, the health of the deaf and hard of hearing, and LGBTQ health.
