During an awards ceremony held at the end of February, the School of Engineering’s Dean Kazem Kazerounian was presentedwith the Distinguished Engineering Educator Award by The Engineers’ Council, a national engineering organization based in California.
According to the citation, Kazerounian received the award for his “significant contributions to engineering education, research, and industry/university engagement that respond to global trends in technology and industry promoting innovation and entrepreneurship and advancing socially mindful engineering practices.”
