Teaching Dental Health Habits Early

UConn dental and medical students are finishing a “week of service and socials” in the spirit of Black History Month. It started Monday at the Glastonbury Magnet School, where dental students gave an interactive presentation on Children’s Dental Health Month in a pre-K classroom.

The week’s activities, organized by the , ,  and the Health Career Opportunity Programs, also included a Black History Month celebration dinner, and fluoride application for children at the Meriden YMCA, a salsa dance night social, and a diversity lunch and learn.
