Connecticut House Majority Leader Denise Merrill has appointed Mun Choi, dean of the School of Engineering, to the state’s Renewable Energy Investment Board, better known as the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund.

The 15-member board promotes, develops, and invests in clean energy sources for the benefit of Connecticut ratepayers. It is supported by a surcharge on residential and commercial electrical bills.
