There is an important link between our communities and our transportation systems. At UConn, faculty members and students are exploring transportation engineering challenges through the Center for Transportation and Livable Systems (CTLS). They are exploring driver behavior, roadway construction and design, the intersect between highways and communities, and a myriad of other topics. Through their research efforts, they are promoting transportation systems that are efficient and which contribute to the quality of life in our communities.
