eurotech-germanyMore than twenty years ago, the dual degree EUROTECH program was launched at the UConn School of Engineering with the initial help of a grant. Designed to prepare students for a global career, graduates of the five year program receive bachelor degrees in German and Engineering from the Collage of Liberal Arts & Sciences and School of Engineering, respectively. The curriculum includes a six month internship in Germany and introduces German-speaking Engineering faculty and engineers from Germany to students from the outset.

On Saturday, October 10th, EUROTECH co-director Brian Schwarz is hosting a special reunion for the nearly 100 program alumni. The celebration begins with Breakfast with the Dean of the School of Engineering at 9am in the Information Technology and Engineering (ITE) building lobby followed by a networking reception with students at 11am in the Learning Community Lounge in Brien McMahon Residence Hall.

Alumni and their guests are invited to reunite, reminisce and celebrate their accomplishments as graduates of a distinguished program that prepared them for international careers with top tier employers including Bosch, Proctor & Gamble, Bayer and Trumpf.

Register today. Scroll through the Huskies Forever Weekend Saturday event schedule and register for both the complimentary breakfast with Dean Kazem Kazerounian and EUROTECH reception.
