Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) Artistic Director Terrence Mann and Executive Producer Matthew J. Pugliese announce “Terry’s Cabaret Late Nite.” A special event added to the Nutmeg Summer Series schedule of programming, which will be held on Saturday June 24, 2017 following the performance of “Noises Off”.

“This is the first step towards offering more kinds of performances for our audiences which will include multiple cabaret performances, workshops of new plays and musicals, and master class programming.”

“Terry’s Cabaret Late Nite” is a post-performance benefit cabaret with CRT Artistic Director and three-time Tony Award nominee Terrence Mann. Terry and friends will perform an intimate evening of song and story. There is limited seating and the event ticket includes an open bar, hors d’ouevres and desserts.

“Since Terrence Mann joined CRT as Artistic Director, we’ve been talking about developing additional event opportunities. This is the first step towards offering more kinds of performances for our audiences which will include multiple cabaret performances, workshops of new plays and musicals, and master class programming,” said Executive Producer Matthew J. Pugliese.

Artistic Director Terrence Mann added, “I’m looking forward to getting a chance to perform in an intimate setting with some friends, audience and performers alike, to help build our community relationships on a more personal level at Connecticut Repertory Theatre.”

The previously announced lineup of the 2017 Nutmeg Summer Series includes, “1776” directed by Mann, “Noises Off” directed by Vincent J. Cardinal and Disney’s “Newsies” directed and choreographed by Christopher d’Amboise.

PERFORMANCE AND TICKET INFORMATION
The doors open at 10:30pm and the performance begins at 11:00pm. The fundraising event will be held in the Jorgensen Theatre Lower Lobby. Tickets are $125 per person and include drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Proceeds from the performance will support Connecticut Repertory Theatre.
