UConn Earth Sciences Department Ranked in Top 25 by College Factual

 UConn was ranked at No. 16 overall for best geological and earth sciences degree

The Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Connecticut was ranked in the top 25 colleges for geological and earth sciences by College Factual in 2024.  

College Factual, looked at 183 schools in the United States offering Associates, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees in geological and earth sciences.  

UConn’s department offers a bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree and ranked No. 16 overall for best geological and earth sciences degree.  

The master’s program was ranked No. 9, while the bachelor’s and doctoral degrees were ranked No. 19.  

The department was also ranked as the top university for a geological and earth sciences degree in New England.  

College Factual determines its rankings by evaluating 11 broad factors such as accreditation, student caliber, educational resources, and post-graduation earnings.
