UConn’s College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources (CAHNR) celebrated members of the College community this week at a beloved annual event. Distinguished alumni, faculty, students, staff, and supporters were all honored for their diverse contributions to the College’s teaching, research, and community engagement initiatives.
“While I hope you are all recognized often for the amazing work you do, this annual event gives us the opportunity to come together to honor [those] who go above and beyond to advance our mission,” says CAHNR Dean Indrajeet Chaubey.
UConn Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Anne D’Alleva, shared her warm congratulations with the award recipients:
“This is a college where innovation meets impact […] CAHNR’s work reflects a commitment not just to scholarship, but to solving real-world problems,” says D’Alleva.” To our award recipients: we’re proud of you, we’re inspired by you, and we’re grateful to have you as part of the UConn community.”
The event also recognizes faculty and staff reaching service milestones. This year, the milestones represent, collectively, almost 700 years working at UConn.
