UConn’s new Ice Bus made its debut this week on a tour of Connecticut’s capital city.
The University bus, featuring the Husky dog logo and images of fans and players, is intended to support the ice hockey team and encourage fans that it’s “All Aboard the Ice Bus” this season. It will run year-round transporting students on the Storrs campus.
The Husky men’s ice hockey team played its first season as a member of the Hockey East Association, the nation’s elite college hockey league, in 2014-15. Under the direction of head coach Mike Cavanaugh, the team plays its home Hockey East conference games at the XL Center in downtown Hartford.
