UConn Faculty Pharmacist Aeschlimann Joins DC Subcommittee Hearing on Coronavirus Misinformation

On Wednesday, November 17  Jeffrey Aeschlimann, Pharm.D., Associate Professor, School of Pharmacy, and Adjunct Associate Professor, School of Medicine, joined a Select Subcommittee hearing on the impact of Coronavirus misinformation on the nation’s public health in Washington D.C.

Jill Fitzgerald Awarded the ’21 Connecticut American Dental Hygienists Association Merit Award for Pandemic Role

Fitzgerald was instrumental in the development of the School of Pharmacy vaccinator training program for health care professionals in accordance with the Connecticut Department of Public Health’s Commissioner’s letter authorizing COVID 19 vaccines. Dental hygienists were among the many health care providers Fitzgerald and her team trained.
