The 2011 Huskies field hockey team was recognized for its successful season during the women’s basketball game against Cincinnati on Jan. 19.

The Huskies posted a 19-3 record, clinched their 12th Big East regular season title in the past 16 years, and advanced to the NCAA Final Four for the 10th time in program history.

Individually, eight different Huskies were named to the All-Big East team, with Chloe Hunnable ’15 (CLAS) named Big East Rookie of the Year, Jestine Angelini ’12 (ED) honored as the league’s Defensive Player of the Year, and head coach Nancy Stevens recognized as Big East Coach of the Year for the seventh time in her Hall of Fame Career.
