Sean Jeffery, Pharm.D. (’95 BS), Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice at UConn’s School of Pharmacy, has announced his candidacy for President Elect of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA).

Xiaobo Zhong Receives First Faculty Research Advising Award

Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology Xiaobo Zhong, Ph.D. has been selected as the first ever recipient of the School of Pharmacy's Faculty Research Advising Award.  This award will be presented annually to a full-time faculty member who has excelled as an advisor for undergraduate or Pharm.D.  students performing research in the School.

William Baker and Jeannette Wick Named 2022 Teachers of the Year

The UConn School of Pharmacy 2022 Pharm.D. class has selected Bill Baker, Pharm.D.  and Professor Jeannette Wick as the 2022 School of Pharmacy Teachers of the Year. This is the first time the voting has resulted in a tie, resulting in two winners being selected.

William Baker Receives 2022 Robert L. McCarthy Faculty Service Award

The School of Pharmacy has named William Baker, Pharm.D. Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice, recipient of the 2022 Dean Robert L. McCarthy Faculty Service Award. This is an annual award presented to a full-time faculty member who has provided outstanding service to their department, school, the university, the profession of pharmacy, and the public.
