Self-proclaimed ‘Walking Miracle’ Celebrates His Caregivers

Two months after a heart attack that nearly killed him, a 48-year-old father of two held a luncheon at the UConn Health Center to thank all those involved in his care.

It was a family affair at the XL Center Thursday, when the Olander brothers took the court in the UConn-Fairfield game, which the Huskies won 79-71. Ryan, a senior at Fairfield, scored 8 points and had 8 rebounds, and Tyler '14 (CLAS), a sophomore at UConn, had 2 points and 2 rebounds in the game.
